Take Action: Eliminate Policy 5756

Back in December, our newsletter contained an article explaining that the Transgender Policy 5756 is NOT MANDATORY. This is the policy that requires school staff and teachers to hide a student’s gender identity and database name change from parents. Not did we discover that it is not mandatory, but two lawyers agree, the solicitor for Hanover Township, Mr. Giacobbe, and the State Attorney Michael who is suing Hanover.

In light of this information, this week Hanover township eliminated transgender policy 5756 putting their thumb in the eye of Governor Murphy. This is a big FU to the administration’s policy. Other districts have been doing this as well because this avoids the state Attorney General from going after the district. The districts also have been writing in policy to allow teachers and staff to partner with parents and stop keeping secrets about the child.

It has to be said that only molesters encourage children to lie to their parents so parents don’t want this policy and neither do good teachers. This is why many districts, who are doing the best by the children, have already been dropping policy 5756.

Below is a screen shot from the transcript about Policy 5756 from James Michael, Chief, Deputy Attorney General:

Its time that you demand that YOUR Board of Education drop policy 5756 because kids aren’t safe as long as school staff can engage kids in discussion about their gender identity and sexual orientation, and then hide this information from parents. It’s a breakdown of appropriate boundaries between school staff and parents puts kids at risk for predators.

Meanwhile, don’t believe any lies that your superintendent may tell you. This mom emailed Dr. Huss from Millstone Township schools and asked if Policy 5756 was mandatory.

His response was less than informed. It’s embarrassing that “Dr.” Huss can’t even get the policy number right and has no clue that transgender policy 5756 is NOT mandatory.

Don’t bother going to your superintendent. Gather your friends and approach the BOE. You need to put the pressure on so that the Board of Education can make an appropriate decision. Let us know if your district elmiated the policy and post it on the NJ Schools Facebook page.

In other news, check out the billboards this week where you can find Murphy’s Transgender Agenda displayed all over the road to see, complements of Sussex County GOP.
